Course Introduction
This beginner-level Arabic course introduces school students to Modern Standard Arabic. Using engaging visuals and interactive exercises, the course helps students learn the Arabic script, pronunciation, and basic vocabulary for everyday situations. Cultural stories and real-life dialogues help students understand both the language and the rich Arab culture.
The course is divided into two parts:
• A1.1 (Month 1): Focuses on greetings, Arabic alphabet, numbers, classroom and family vocabulary.
• A1.2 (Month 2): Covers topics like home, city, food, weather, and everyday expressions, improving confidence in speaking and writing.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the A1 level course, students will be able to:
- Read and write the Arabic alphabet with correct pronunciation.
- Use greetings and introduce themselves.
- Talk about numbers, colors, family, and school.
- Ask and answer simple questions about personal and daily topics.
- Recognize common Arabic words and phrases in short texts.
- Write simple sentences using basic grammar.
- Gain cultural insights about Arabic-speaking countries.
- Present a short project in Arabic using learned vocabulary.
Part 1: A1.1 (Month 1)
Week 1: Greetings & Alphabet
- Lesson 1: أهلاً وسهلاً – Introductions
- Lesson 2: Arabic Alphabet – recognition and pronunciation
- Lesson 3: Classroom objects and commands
Week 2: Numbers, Colors & Days
- Lesson 4: Numbers 1–20
- Lesson 5: Colors and classroom description
- Lesson 6: Days of the week and simple calendar vocabulary
Week 3: Family & Self
- Lesson 7: My family (father, mother, siblings)
- Lesson 8: Age, nationality, and personal details
- Lesson 9: Describing people (height, features, feelings)
Week 4: Daily Activities & Review
- Lesson 10: Daily routines and verbs (wake up, eat, go)
- Lesson 11: Role-play / revision game
- Lesson 12: Project: “My Family in Arabic” (oral + poster)
✅ Assessment: Vocabulary quiz + dialogue + short written description
Part 2: A1.2 (Month 2)
Week 1: Home & City
- Lesson 1: Rooms and furniture
- Lesson 2: Places in the city
- Lesson 3: Location prepositions (in, on, next to…)
Week 2: Weather & Clothes

- Lesson 5: Clothes and seasons
- Lesson 6: Hobbies and free-time activities
Week 3: Food & Culture

- Lesson 8: At the restaurant (ordering food)
- Lesson 9: Dialogue practice: “At the market”
Week 4: Review & Final Project
- Lesson 10: Storytelling and revision activities
